Membership

If you wish to join the SLMES, check running events or enquire regarding the portable track please contact the secretary Mr. Adrian Dixon, alternatively speak to any member at the track or other Society event. He can be contacted by email at adriandixon1@yahoo.co.uk

Membership is open to juniors or adults with an interest in any aspect of model engineering, or simply assisting with the running of the railway.

The annual membership fees are £15 for adults or £5 for juniors.

Membership of the society brings the following benefits:

• In house boiler testing of members steam models.
• Help solving problems on your model from experienced model engineers.
• Links and invitations to other club open days.
• Use of club railway line.
• Personal accident insurance for model engineering activities.
• Share in club decisions.
